NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A PROPOSED CHARTER SCHOOL
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at the New Green Grove Church of Faith Fellowship Hall located at 4053 Browning Road, Greenwood, MS 38930. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed application to operate a charter school located in the boundaries of the Leflore County School District. The proposed application has been filed by MS Delta Academies to operate one charter school named Leflore Legacy Academy, serving grades 6-8 (at capacity). This public hearing will be held for the specific purposes of affording the public the opportunity to hear from the charter applicant and allowing the public to offer any comments about the proposed school.

Written comments received by the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board prior to the public hearing date shall become part of the public hearing record.
