NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A PROPOSED CHARTER SCHOOL
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at Smilow Prep located at 787 E. Northside Drive, Jackson, MS 39206. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed application to operate a charter school located in the boundaries of the Jackson Public School District. The proposed application has been filed by RePublic Schools, Inc. to operate a charter school named Revive Prep, serving grades K-8 (at capacity), and another charter school named RePublic High School, serving grades 9-12 (at capacity). This public hearing will be held for the specific purposes of affording the public the opportunity to hear from the charter applicant and allowing the public to offer any comments about the proposed school.

Written comments received by the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board prior to the public hearing date shall become part of the public hearing record
