NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A PROPOSED CHARTER SCHOOL
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at the Canton Multipurpose Center located at 501 Soldiers Colony Road, Canton, MS 39046. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed application to operate a charter school located in the boundaries of the Canton Public School District. The proposed application has been filed by SR1 to operate one charter school named SR1 College Preparatory and STEM Academy, serving grades K-5 (at capacity). This public hearing will be held for the specific purposes of affording the public the opportunity to hear from the charter applicant and allowing the public to offer any comments about the proposed school.

Written comments received by the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board prior to the public hearing date shall become part of the public hearing record.
